Ahead of the 20th Session of the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF20) to be held from 5-9 May 2025 in New York, CPF Members provided a virtual briefing on the work of the CPF to UNFF Members.  The briefing outlined how the CPF has responded and acted upon specific guidance emanating from the Mid-term review of the International Arrangement on Forests, and from UNFF19, as reflected in ECOSOC resolution 2024/15. 

CPF Members also provided an update on the development of the CPF Workplan for 2025-2028 to be published ahead of UNFF20 and presented key highlights of the suite of current and planned Joint Initiatives to support UNFF Members in the achievement of the Global Forest Goals, SDGs and other forest-related goals and commitments.
